About Friday Family Fun Day 2026
Have you ever wanted to explore the Abbey Medieval Festival but not quite sure what all the fuss is about?
Discover the best of our Festival with a sensory-friendly Friday Family Fun Day.
Featuring all the crowd favourites, including the Moreton Bay Medieval Joust Championship, Birds of Prey, combat demonstrations, story telling, workshops, live performers, and the Friday-exclusive Treasure Hunt!
The kids can get hands on with our Archery range or make their own shield in our Kids Kingdom. It’s perfect for families who want more engagement and kid-friendly activities without the sensory overstimulation, or for those wanting a ‘taste’ of the Festival experience.
